Meats

Meat Jerky	Brahmin meat, dried and salted. Not the tastiest, but nutritious and relatively cheap meat. Perfectly suited to cook up a nice meat broth.	10 $ aufwärts
Brahmin steak	Whether from the hip, the back or whichever part of the animal, Brahmin steak is the most eaten meat of the post apocalyptic northern California. Not that cheap, however.	30 $ aufwärts
Brahmin sausage	The leftovers of the meat production, wrapped in Brahmin intestines. In and of itself, most people don't really want to know what's in it. Still tasty, though.	15 $ aufwärts
Horse salami	A truly rare delicacy, since horses are mostly bred to be ridden, not to be eaten. For the true meat connoiseur.	150 $ aufwärts
Gecko meat (silver/golden)	Mostly, geckos are hunted for their skins. But the meat of these animals is quite nutritious, too, even though it get's quite chewy, when cooked too long.	25 $ aufwärts
Rat meat	Usually available as ground meat, and not only from hunted rats. There are actually rumors about a few pig rat and mole rat breeding operations in the republic.	15 $ aufwärts
Deathclaw Steak	The best of the best among the meats. Incredibly rare, since deathclaws are incredibly hard to hunt. Accordingly pricey and usually eaten in smaller bits than one whole pound.	500 $ aufwärts
Chicken meat	Luckily, many chickens survived the nuclear war relatively unchanged. Among other things, these animals have tasty meat.	15 $ aufwärts
Dog meat	If they attack you anyway, why not eat them, too? Allegedly, the Shi in San Francisco even have a dog ranch.	10 $ aufwärts
Mutated Mantis	Not really bred, but quite common in the middle Californian Wastes. So why not just throw a whole one the grill? Not that tasty, but not that expensive either.	12 $ aufwärts

Kohl	Mutierter Kohl wird im Ödland in großen Mengen angebaut und ist dementsprechend billig. Der durchschnittliche mutierte Kohl ist auch von der Größe her wesentlich größer als Vorkriegsversionen.	6 $ aufwärts
Mais	Ebenso wie mutierter Kohl, wird auch mutierter Mais fast überall im Ödland angebaut. Tatsächlich ist er eines der Grundnahrungsmittel, und Grundlage für Maisbrot, Maismehl und dient auch als Nutz-Tier-Futter.	4 $ aufwärts
Apfel	Äpfel haben den Atomkrieg im großen und Ganzen unbeschadet überlebt, wachsen aber nicht überall.	7 $ aufwärts (pro Stück)
Birne	Genau wie Äpfel haben Birnenbäume den Krieg gut überstanden. Allerdings haben sie sich besser als Äpfel an das neue Klima und den neuen Boden gewöhnt, was sie häufiger auffindbar und vor allem billiger macht.	3 $ aufwärts (pro Stück)
Traube	Kalifornien war vor dem Krieg eines der weltweit besten Wein-Anbaugebiete. Auch nach dem Krieg sind sie immer noch sehr lecker und dienen auch wieder der Weinproduktion.	6 $ aufwärts
Orange	Orangen gedeihen wunderbar im post-apokalyptischen Klima. Die Orangen sind zwar zu etwa doppelter Größe mutiert, doch die Ghule behaupten sie schmecken immer noch gleich.	8 $ aufwärts (pro Stück)
Tomate	Rot und lecker und nach wie vor das Kernstück der italienischen Küche.	5 $ aufwärts
Kartoffel	Ob gebacken oder gebraten, Kartoffeln wandern im Ödland sehr häufig auf den Teller. Dieses Knollengewächs ist allerdings auch auf größere Größen mutiert.	10 $ aufwärts
Bohnen	Bohnen haben den 23. Oktober 2077 und den darauf folgenden nuklearen Winter sehr gut überstanden. Tatsächlich haben sie sich kaum verändert – vielleicht sogar gar nicht.	12 $ aufwärts
Karotten	Auch die Karotte ist eines der Nahrungsmittel, welches nicht mutiert ist.	7 $ aufwärts
Zwiebeln	Die meisten Ghule behaupten, dass Zwiebeln mit der Zeit wesentlich schärfer geworden sind.	5 $ aufwärts
Knoblauch	Verursacht zwar heftigsten Mundgeruch, ist aber ideal zum Würzen und viele Ödland-Ärzte schwören auf die antibakteriellen Eigenschaften.	4 $ aufwärts
Paprika	Von den großen Paprika-Sorten hat nur die rote Paprika überlebt.	9 $ aufwärts
Pepperoni	Unerlässlich für die echt scharfe Küche die Cowboys bevorzugen.	12 $ aufwärts
Pilze	Vermutlich eine stark mutierte Version des Champignons.	10 $ aufwärts
