This page shows the helmets. The other armors are leg armors, upper body armors, as well as power armors.

The armor rating is the amount of damage that is absorbed by the armor. Only incoming damage that surpasses the armor rating is actually decreasing hit points.

In case an armor raises a part of the main attributes above the race maximum (powered armors can, for example, raise strength, this character has even more strength when wearing that armor. If it was a human character with Strength of 10, it is now quite literally a character with super human strength when wearing that armor.
That being said, the negative effects of armor pieces can not reduce the main attributes to below the race minimum.

Description: A helmet as it was worn by miners and construction workers – and as they are still often worn by them. Lighter than a steel helmet, it provides less protection, but is usually more comfortable.

Description: An old style, military steel helmet, as they were used by nearly all militaries until nearly the beginning of the Great War.
Handicaps: - 1 E to all tests on Endurance.

Fire: 5
Plasma: 1
Explosives: 6
Electrical: 1



Combat helmet:
Price: 1000 $
Weight: 5 pounds
Description: A helmet made, like the combat armor, from especially hard, but light polymers. It generally protects better than the steel helmet, especially against plasma and fire damage.
Handicaps: None.
Armor rating: Normal: 8
Laser: 8
Fire: 7
Plasma: 6
Explosives: 8
Electrical: 6



Biker helmet:
Price: 300 $
Weight: 10 pounds
Description: A helmet that protects the whole head, including the face. The up sliding visor still allows the wearer to see, but it does impede smelling and hearing.
Handicaps: - 1 P to all tests on perception.
