Ruger Mini 14

This weapon is part of the rifles.

The Ruger Mini 14 was designed by Ruger with military and police applications in mind. While the US military showed little interest, it was well liked on the civilian market. It's name is a reference to the M 14 which it replicates in function, but in a smaller caliber. The most common version found in the Wasteland is the fully automatic one, that was a popular TV star before the Great War.
